Linda Nwakalor remains at Savino Del Bene Scandicci

The Savino Del Bene Scandicci continues under the sign of continuity and announces the confirmation of Italian central player Linda Nwakalor for the next sports season as well. For the Italian athlete, this will be the fourth consecutive year with the biancoblù jersey.

Who arrived in Scandicci in the 2023-2024 season, Nwakalor has progressively consolidated her role within the group, establishing herself as one of the most reliable pawns at the center of the net thanks to the quality of her wall and her continuity of performance.

During her first three seasons with the Tuscan club, the central player originally from Lecco contributed significantly to the results achieved in Italy, Europe and internationally, totaling a total of 127 appearances, 821 points, 276 winning walls and 54 aces.

Also in the 2025-2026 year, Nwakalor confirmed her value within the roster, proving decisive in the path that led to the conquest of the 2025 World Club Championship, the first Italian Cup final in the club’s history and the second consecutive qualification to the CEV Champions League Final Four.

The season closed with 45 total appearances, 306 points scored, 115 winning walls and 15 aces, numbers that confirm her central role in the technical development of the team and the continuity of the results achieved by the club.
