Virtus Bologna market: there are those who are going to go and those who must be retained at all costs

The elimination, by Reyer Venezia, from the play-offs was a blow to the ambitions of Virtus Bologna, which was aiming for a much better end to the season. At this point, it is inevitable to get a hand on the roster and try to set up a valuable team for next season, the one of redemption.

Very unlikely that Carsen Edwards will be able to stay. The former Bayern Munich player has apparently come into the crosshairs of Zalgiris Kaunas, which is ready to put a major proposal on the table to convince him to change teams.

The loss of Carsen Edwards would be heavy. To make it less tragic, the club would be doing everything to convince Matt Morgan to stay. The person concerned, via social media, seemed to have said goodbye to the Bologna club after two excellent seasons but, at the moment, there would be a willingness to find an agreement to continue together.

Concomitantly, the club is working to identify the right coach to whom to entrust this new project. Sasha Djordjevic, at the moment, seems to be in pole position, although there is nothing official about that yet.
