The City of Naples Is Ready to Renovate the Maradona Stadium for Euro 2032

The Maradona Stadium is set to undergo a facelift and bid to host some matches for Euro 2032. According to a report in *Il Mattino*, there is a firm commitment to modernize the stadium (built way back in 1959) and make it ideal for the next major European soccer tournament.
The City of Naples is reportedly ready to submit all the necessary documentation (due by July 31) to kick off the renovation project and, at the same time, put forward its bid as a potential venue for Euro 2032.
The city administration led by Manfredi, in fact, would like to do much more: completely renovate the Maradona Stadium. This idea would not sit well at all with De Laurentiis, owner of the Napoli club, who intends to build a new stadium from scratch.
What is certain is that the city of Naples is ready to do whatever it takes to make the Maradona Stadium a perfect venue for Euro 2032.
