Pisa Transfer Market: Paolo Bianco’s Double Signing for the Offense Is Set

With a dismal Serie A season now behind them—one that ended with relegation all but certain well before the end of the championship—Pisa is ready to start fresh in Serie B with renewed ambitions: In fact, the Nerazzurri’s transfer activity continues; just hours after the successful sale of Durosinmi to Genk for 10.5 million euros plus bonuses, the club is poised to finalize a deal with Napoli for the loan of young forward Emanuele Rao. According to Sky Sport, the deal is in the final stages.

Born in 2006 and capable of playing any position on the offensive front—though he prefers the left wing—Rao has been on Napoli’s radar since the summer of 2025, when he had to leave the now-bankrupt SPAL. The Trentino-born player was then immediately loaned to Bari, where he was one of the few bright spots for the club as it was relegated to Serie C after 43 years.

In addition to Rao’s loan, the Nerazzurri club is also pursuing other targets, all aimed at further strengthening the offensive lineup for new head coach Paolo Bianco: ‘Il Tirreno,’ in particular, reports interest in Mattia Compagnon of Venezia and Tolu Arokodare, given his performance last season with Wolverhampton.
