Preseason friendlies: Juventus vs. Nice, probable lineups

Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus will play another preseason friendly in preparation for the league season, facing Nice at their training center on Friday at 6 p.m. The Turin side, coming off a 0-0 draw against Basel and a victory in Belgium against Standard Liège, will face the French team with virtually no forwards.

Spalletti is without Ekhator, who is still injured, while Milik and David are not yet in match shape, and Openda has just been transferred to Lyon. Also absent are Thuram and the other national team players who have just returned from the World Cup, such as Yildiz, McKennie, and Conceição. The situation should change shortly: the Old Lady is nearing a deal with PSG for Kolo Muani.

Up front, Spalletti will field 18-year-old Danish forward Durmisi, supported in the attacking midfield by Licina, Miretti, and Boga. In midfield, Douglas Luiz is confirmed alongside Locatelli, while the fullbacks will be Kalulu and Cambiaso. Gatti and Kelly will play in the center in front of Di Gregorio.
