Napoli Basketball Roster Moves: Top Scorer Jahmi’us Ramsey Officially Joins the Team

Napoli Basketball has pulled off a major coup by signing Jahmi’us Ramsey, one of the top scorers in the league. The leading scorer in the most recent LBA regular season (while playing for Trieste), he is an incredibly valuable addition for the Naples-based club.

Here is the club’s official statement: “Napoli Basketball announces that it has signed Jahmi’us Ramsey for the 2026–2027 season. Born in Arlington, Texas, in 2001, Ramsey is a 191-centimeter guard.

A product of Texas Tech University, he averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds per game during the 2019-2020 NCAA season. In the 2020 draft, he was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the 43rd overall pick, averaging 3.5 points and 0.9 rebounds in 15 games during his first NBA season. He then played in the G-League with the Aqua Caliente Clippers and, during the 2021–2022 season, with the Stockton Kings, averaging 17.6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. His outstanding performances in the G-League earned him a return to the NBA, once again with Sacramento.

In the 2022–2023 season, he had an excellent G-League campaign with the Oklahoma City Blue, averaging 21.3 points and 3.4 rebounds. In 2023–2024, he began the NBA season with the Toronto Raptors, averaging 6.7 points and 3.1 rebounds, before returning to the G-League with the Raptors 905, where he averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, and was also called up to the U.S. national team competing in the Continental Games qualifiers. In 2024–2025, he was once again a standout performer in Oklahoma with the City Blue, averaging 20 points and 4.8 rebounds.

In 2025–2026, he had his first European experience, moving to Serie A with Pallacanestro Trieste. Ramsey averaged 19.3 points per game—leading the league in scoring—and also played in the playoffs. Still wearing the Trieste jersey, he made his Champions League debut, averaging 17.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. His outstanding performances earned him another call-up to the U.S. national team, where he played in the FIBA Americup, averaging 10 points per game.”
