Preseason friendlies: Napoli vs. Osasuna, probable lineups

Napoli and Osasuna will face off at 6:30 p.m. in a friendly match at the Teofilo Patini Stadium in Castel di Sangro. This is the third preseason match for Massimiliano Allegri’s team: the Livorno-born coach wants to assess his players’ condition and will be closely monitoring certain players ahead of the Serie A opener in just over two weeks.

The Azzurri will line up in a 4-3-3 formation with an attacking trio of Politano, Hojlund, and Alisson Santos. In midfield, Lobotka will play as the playmaker with Anguissa and Vergara flanking him, while Olivera and Di Lorenzo will be the fullbacks. Meret will be in goal, backed by center backs Rrahmani and Marianucci.

The Pamplona-based team will rely on the Barja-Garcia attacking duo, with Benito and Morales on the wings. The three midfielders are Munos, Moncayola, and Auria.

Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku’s time at Napoli appears to have come to a definitive end: the Belgian player did not report to training camp, and his transfer now seems certain.
