Milan Transfer Market: Rumors Resurface About the Player Left Out at the Start of the Season

Francesco Camarda is back in the spotlight of Europe’s top clubs. The young Milan forward has, in fact, caught the eye of Chelsea, which is reportedly making a renewed push to bring him to the Premier League during the upcoming transfer windows. This was reported by the British publication TEAMtalk.

Born in 2008, Camarda continues to be regarded as one of the most promising talents in Italian soccer, but his start to the season with the Rossoneri’s first team has inevitably drawn the attention of foreign clubs. The main issue is playing time: Camarda has only seen sporadic action in the first official matches, despite Milan’s decision this summer to rely on him as Gonçalo Ramos’s backup. Chelsea isn’t the only club on the young striker’s trail. Manchester City, Liverpool, and Manchester United are also reported to have made inquiries, while Tottenham, Brighton, and Brentford are said to be continuing to monitor the situation.

Milan, for its part, has adopted a clear strategy: to keep Camarda at the club and gradually integrate him into Ruben Amorim’s plans. His contract has been extended through 2031, and the club has decided not to sign another alternative to Ramos precisely to make room for the young forward’s development.

So far, however, opportunities have been few and far between. Camarda has played a total of just eight minutes in Serie A—five against Lazio and three against Lecce—and has often remained on the bench. This has fueled questions about his playing time, especially given Ramos’s struggles to score. The issue, therefore, concerns not only Chelsea’s interest but also the management of the Rossoneri’s young talent. Milan views Camarda as an investment for the future and will need to find a way to give him more playing time in the coming months, while increasingly concrete signals are coming from the Premier League.
