Lindsey Vonn, a New Beginning; New Love at 41: He’s Francesca Marsaglia’s Ex

American ski star Lindsey Vonn has found love again: the American champion is officially engaged to French skier Matthieu Bailet, who is 11 years her junior.

Vonn, who is still recovering from the extremely serious injury she suffered at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics—which forced her to undergo an endless series of surgeries—has been making appearances at social events again in recent weeks, showing clear signs of physical recovery.

Moreover, her love life is going strong: the 41-year-old skier posted a photo on Instagram in which she is kissing Bailet by the edge of a pool. The two had actually been spotted together as early as last May in New York, where they attended a play and were making their first public appearances as a couple.

Matthieu Bailet, who has competed in 115 World Cup races in his career, was engaged for several years to former Italian skier Francesca Marsaglia, who retired in 2022 and is now a commentator for Eurosport. “It’s time for a summer recap… part 1,” Vonn wrote in her post, set to the song “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” by Olivia Dean.

Lindsey Vonn, born Lindsey Kildow, married skier Thomas Vonn in 2007; the couple divorced in 2013. In 2015, she began a tumultuous relationship with world-renowned golfer Tiger Woods; she later became romantically involved with ice hockey player Pernell-Karl Sylvester Subban. In recent years, she had been dating entrepreneur Diego Osorio, but the two ended their relationship in 2025.
