Kimi Antonelli: George Russell is turning up the heat: “It’s all on him”

George Russell wins in Baku and tries to ramp up the pressure on his teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who trails him by 66 points in the Formula 1 drivers’ standings. The British Mercedes driver dominated the weekend, holding off a late charge from Max Verstappen, and feels he has regained the confidence he had lost earlier in the year.

“If I keep performing like I did this weekend, I’ll be happy at the end of the season because I’ve been through a tough period and will feel like I’ve overcome those challenges. Now the goal is to win them all—to win every race.”

The Briton feels he’s found the right path to performing at his best: “After the break, I felt like I was getting better and better with every race. I feel like myself again.
