LeBron James and his son will not play together in the 2026–27 season. It’s all because of the father, who decided this summer to join the Philadelphia 76ers, leaving Bronny “alone” with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bronny revealed the moment when they discussed the possibility of his father moving to Philadelphia: “We’re men of few words when it comes to discussing business, what we’re going to do, or how we feel about each other. So, to be honest, there wasn’t much of a discussion,” Bronny James said during the Lakers’ media day.

“I’m happy for him and excited to see how their season goes,” added Bronny James. “I can’t wait to see him at Christmas. I’m excited to face him that day; it’ll be a great experience.”
