Juventus Transfer News: Nick Woltemade Could Be Leaving Already—And to a Top Club

Bild is certain: Bayern Munich is reportedly considering Nick Woltemade ahead of the 2027–2028 season. This interest is not new, but has resurfaced following requests from Vincent Kompany, who reportedly identified the need to add a technically skilled second striker with a strong physical build to the roster—someone capable of linking the lines and supporting Harry Kane.

The situation is made even more unique by the player’s current contractual status. Woltemade is, in fact, on loan to Juventus from Newcastle, under a straight-up, costly deal. For the player’s loan, Juventus agreed to pay the Magpies just under 5 million euros, including a fixed fee and bonuses. At the end of the season, Woltemade will therefore return to England.

If Bayern were to decide to make a move, therefore, Juventus would not be the club to negotiate with regarding the player’s purchase. Newcastle would, in fact, regain ownership of his contract and would be the one to set the price.

A stay in Turin seems unlikely at this point. The English club could demand a very high fee, especially given the 75 million euros invested two seasons ago to sign Woltemade, who was identified at the time as Alexander Isak’s successor. In this scenario, competition from Bayern Munich would pose a significant obstacle for Juventus, particularly from a financial standpoint.
