Tech3 moves forward and announces its two riders for the 2027 Moto3 World Championship

Tech3 has announced Adrián Fernández and Kristian Daniel Jr. as its riders for the 2027 FIM Moto3 World Championship. This pairing combines the experience and speed of a rider who has already stood on the podium with one of the most promising young talents to emerge from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
The 22-year-old Fernández, born in Madrid, returns to the team he raced for in 2022, bringing with him the experience gained from over 100 Grand Prix starts. After moving to Leopard Racing in 2023, the Spaniard firmly established himself among the top contenders, securing his first Moto3 podium in 2024 and finishing seventh in the 2025 World Championship. His career record includes one victory, seven podium finishes, and three pole positions.
Joining him will be American Kristian Daniel Jr., ready to make his full-time debut in the MotoGP World Championship after rapid progress on the Road to MotoGP. Born in Los Angeles and living in Barcelona, the 17-year-old finished fourth in the 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, securing his first pole position in the season finale at the Red Bull Ring.
“I’m very happy to be back at Tech3. It’s a team I know well and with which I shared an important chapter of my career, so returning now is truly special. However, I’m coming back with more experience, a different mindset, and, above all, a lot of ambition. The goal for 2027 can only be to fight for the World Championship. We know it will be a long and demanding season, but we have the motivation, the drive to work hard, and the potential to stay at the front. I can’t wait to get started, settle back into the team, and work together from day one to try to win the title,” said Fernandez.
“I’m truly very grateful for this opportunity. I know how hard I work, and getting such an important opportunity with a team of this caliber is pretty much everything I could have hoped for. I know it won’t be easy, but it never is. I’m convinced that the team and I will work hard to achieve the same goal,” said Daniel.
