Spain and the Czech Republic take the field at 8:45 p.m. for their match in the third round of Group 3 of League A of the 2026–2027 Nations League. The world champions host the Czechs with the goal of securing their third consecutive victory in the group, which would allow them to clinch first place in the group. The visitors, on the other hand, sit at the bottom of the standings following losses to England and Croatia and need a major upset: the risk of relegation is looming.

The Red Fury, unbeaten for over two years, will field Oyarzabal as center forward with Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, and Alex Baena behind him. In midfield, Rodri partners with Pedri. The wings are manned by Cucurella and Pubill.

Denia is relying on Hlozek up front, supported in the attacking midfield by Radosta, Bucha, and Lingr. In midfield, Sadilek partners with Cerv.

I must highlight Lamine’s work, both collectively and individually. He is a very selfless player who puts all his talent, all his genius, and the spectacular soccer he possesses at the service of the team.”
