The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is in Polish

Adrian Meronk won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, held in Scotland, claiming his fifth career victory on the DP World Tour. The Polish golfer finished the tournament at 20 under par, two strokes ahead of Casey Jarvis and Niklas Norgaard.
Meronk began the final round on the Old Course at St. Andrews two strokes behind Jarvis, who had led after the first two rounds. Despite strong winds, the 33-year-old got off to a strong start, making three birdies on the first five holes.
The situation changed in the middle section of the course. Jarvis, who had been playing very consistently up to that point, made his first bogey of the weekend on the 9th hole and dropped another stroke on the 11th. Meronk capitalized on this with three birdies between the 9th and 14th, taking the lead.
Down the stretch, the Polish player carded a bogey on the 17th, but Jarvis was unable to make up ground. With a par on the 18th, Meronk completed the final round in 68 strokes and finished the tournament at -20. This marks his fifth title on the European Tour and his first since 2023.
Jarvis finished the final day at par, slipping to a tie for second place at -18 alongside Norgaard. Behind them, Tommy Fleetwood made up ground with a round of 64, finishing fourth at -17 alongside Michael Stewart. Brooks Koepka and Robert MacIntyre tied for sixth place with a total score of -16.
