The Serie A Basketball League and Dole Italia Move Forward Together

The Lega Basket Serie A has announced the renewal of its partnership with Dole Italia for the third consecutive year, confirming Dole as the competition’s Platinum Sponsor for the 2026–27 season as well. The collaboration, developed with the support of Infront, the LBA’s Official Advisor, will see Dole take center stage on courts across Italy through a dedicated 3D brand sticker, which will be visible on all Serie A courts.
Throughout the season, the partnership will also be accompanied by a series of projects and initiatives designed to highlight the connection between Dole and the world of basketball, strengthening the brand’s visibility and the engagement of the LBA community.
“The extension of the agreement with Dole—now in its third year,” said Maurizio Gherardini, president of the LBA, “confirms basketball as an ideal platform for conveying a promotional message and, at the same time, underscores the quality of the partnership with the LBA. We strongly believe in this partnership, as well as in Dole’s enthusiasm, and we want to make every effort to explore all possible avenues for growth in this collaboration.”
“We are renewing this partnership because we firmly believe in the educational value of sports and its ability to promote healthy lifestyles among young people. We consider basketball a natural arena for promoting a culture of healthy and mindful eating,” noted Giusto Curti, managing director of Dole Italia.
“The renewal of the partnership between Dole and the LBA confirms the value of a collaboration that, season after season, continues to strengthen. Dole’s presence for the third consecutive year attests to the LBA’s ability to offer its partners an increasingly structured and widespread platform for communication and engagement. “We are pleased to have contributed, as Official Advisor, to the continuation of this journey, and we will work together with Dole and the League to develop new initiatives throughout the season,” said Alessandro Giacomini, managing director of Infront Italy.
