Trieste Basketball’s latest signing, Jalen Hudson, a 198cm by 88kg wing-guard, trained basketball-wise with the Fighting Irish at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s high school and then continued his path first at Virginia Tech, then with the University of Florida Gators. After a stint in the G-League and the Israeli second tier, he signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in 2021. The following season he wears the jersey of Larisa B.C. in the Greek Basketball League. In 32 league games, he maintains averages of more than 13 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists, playing 28 minutes per lace-up. On September 4, 2022, he signs with newly promoted Hapoel Galil Elyon in the Israeli Premier League, a team with which he also plays in the FIBA Europe Cup, averaging over 19 points in the league and 17 in the continental competition. Since January, Jalen has been playing as a PBA Governor’s Cup graft for TNT Tropang Giga in the Philippines, where he has traveled at an average of over 33 points, before embarking on the biancorossa adventure that will bring him to Trieste in the coming days, once the necessary bureaucratic formalities are completed.
