Carlos Alcaraz speaks out about his rivalry with Jannik Sinner
Carlos Alcaraz: “There will probably be a good confrontation between us in the future, everyone will be talking about it.”
Carlos Alcaraz in a press conference before the start of the Miami Masters 1000 spent some nice words towards Jannik Sinner. The Spaniard credited the South Tyrolean with being one of the few to challenge him, “Yes, probably between us two there will be a good rivalry. I think everyone will talk about it, because we push each other to be better people and stronger players. We push each other to develop our game 100 percent, and I think that’s a beautiful thing,” are the words reported by Ubitennis.
However, the Spaniard is currently the only true rising star in world tennis, with one Slam and three Masters 1000s won at the age of 19: “I don’t feel a lot of pressure, I know what the things I have to do are: to play relaxed and not worry if I win or lose, or play well or badly. My goal is always the same, to be comfortable on the court, have fun and try to make great shots during the match. That’s who I am, that’s why I play at a great level, because I’m relaxed and have fun.”
