F1, Ferrari to conserve in Melbourne: updates to Imola
Ferrari, at the moment, is fourth in the Constructors’ World Championship.
Ferrari’s start to the season has been highly disappointing. This is certified by its current fourth place in the Constructors’ World Championship, -61 points behind the leading Red Bull. Prompt action is needed to improve the SF-23’s performance, as Leclerc and Sainz have been clamoring for.
However, the real updates will come only for the Emilia Romagna GP (May 21). First, it will be necessary to work on the single-seater as it is, trying to find ingenious solutions, perhaps taking a cue from Red Bull, which, in terms of performance and tire wear is practically perfect. In Australia, the next round of the F1 World Championship, the Red Bull team will try to “adapt” the SF-23 as much as possible to the Melbourne street circuit, hoping that it will serve to achieve more “Ferrari-like” results. Vasseur, the team principal of the Cavallino, is called upon to find immediate solutions, pending updates.
