Matteo Berrettini: brother sticks up for him

Jacopo Berrettini gave an interview to OA Sport in which he defended his brother Matteo from the multiple criticisms he has received in the last period: “I think he responded in a very recent interview and there is not much to say or add to what he said. It seems to me very bad and disrespectful to question something that is very beautiful, because we know how beautiful a human relationship or a relationship in the genre can be. Certainly his work leads him to expose himself a little bit more.”

“I don’t feel like saying anything more than what he said. Everything he is experiencing is not affecting his tennis, but rather other things, one of them being the injuries. There is too little mention of these things. I am happy for him that he has this relationship, the rest matters little,” Jacopo concluded.
