A dream that lasted only a few seconds, but the satisfaction remains.

Marco Bezzecchi will start second in the Sprint Race of the Argentine Grand Prix, beaten only in the last seconds of qualifying by Alex Marquez. The Romagnolo stopped 172 thousandths short of his colleague’s 1:43.881 time, but his mood remains great after Saturday’s first result at Termas de Rio Hondo.

“It’s too bad, with one more lap maybe I could have improved my time even more – explained Bezzecchi, at the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’ -. The track conditions were really complicated, so I am happy with my result. Today the risks were really a lot, so I think it went really well for me.”

The prospects are now to repeat in the Sprint Race. “First we will have to figure out what the weather conditions will be. If it is no longer raining, since Moto2 and Moto3 will also be running in the meantime, we may be back on track in full dry conditions. In any case it will be a very intense race,” Bezzecchi added.
