Marco Bezzecchi’s enthusiasm: “Tomorrow we will try again.”
A stellar second place, with many thanks to be given.
Marco Bezzecchi confirmed his second place from the qualifying session of the Argentine Grand Prix also in the Sprint Race, which saw him battle with Brad Binder for victory all the way to the finish line. The Mooney VR46 Racing Team centaur finished just 72 thousandths behind the front-runner, but he still commented on his Saturday at Termas de Rio Hondo with words of great enthusiasm.
“It was really good. Unfortunately, the tussle at the beginning was hard, and there I lost a bit of time – was Bezzecchi’s hot comment at the end of the Sprint Race -. But I had a lot of fun. I was strong, and in the end I was able to make up a lot of positions. I almost made it to Brad. He went a little better than me on the last lap, though.”
“I’m still really happy. I have to thank the whole team and Ducati, because they really did an incredible job. And thanks also to the fans, because racing in Argentina is always fantastic,” Bezzecchi added. Whose goal for the Argentine Grand Prix is now clear: “Tomorrow we will try again.”
