Thanks to his first Augusta Masters, Spaniard returns No. 1 in the world

The Augusta Masters 2023 was won by Jon Rahm. The Spaniard won the famous and prestigious trophy putting many of the world’s golfing big guns behind him and thus donning the green jacket of the Augusta Masters. In fact, the 28-year-old Spaniard finished at -12 ahead of Americans Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson (both at -8).

An outstanding performance for Jon Rahm that allowed him to win the first Augusta Masters of his career and, more importantly, return No. 1 in the world (bypassing Scottie Scheffler). For the Spanish golfer, this is the second Slam of his career after winning the US Open in 2021.
