Stefano Domenicali speaking about the future of Formula 1 also sent a clear message to Monza: “It is no secret that we are still seeing if there is a possibility to go to Africa, because it is the only continent that is missing. When historic tracks only look behind there is something wrong, but if they have a good base to look ahead with a different future it is beautiful. That’s why we are focusing with the so-called historic grand prix tracks to understand what their vision for the future is. Being arrogant and believing that you have a guaranteed future because you have been racing for 100 years is not enough.”

“I think everybody is understanding that right now, and we are not playing any game, we are very transparent with them, we are saying that if they want to be in the calendar they have to do the things that we think are right for them and also for F1.
