Tadej Pogacar also takes the Walloon Arrow
The words of Tadej Pogacar
Tadej Pogacar doesn’t stop anymore. The Slovenian also won the Walloon Arrow, imposing himself on the legendary Huy Wall.
“It was not easy, I had to give everything on the wall. The finish is spectacular but it’s so hard. I’m speechless,” his first words at the finish.
“The team made the difference today, they all did an outstanding job. They pushed me when I needed it and so in the end I had to win for them as well, not to waste all their efforts. I was a little nervous today, but the team was outstanding in keeping me at the front of the pack all the time. There was even a moment when I almost crashed. We managed to achieve our goal despite a somewhat chaotic race.”
“You never get bored of winning, I think it applies to me as it does to all the other riders. I am so happy to be living this moment and I want to enjoy it to the fullest. Liège will be different, but we will try.”
