F1, Toto Wolff takes a chair at Harvard

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff will become a part-time professor at the prestigious Harvard Business School. German media report that the Austrian executive has been named an Executive Fellow at the U.S. university, and will be a guest lecturer during Professor Anita Elberse’s classes starting in January 2024.

Wolff in particular will talk about high-level team leadership, work organization, and how to make a team more effective. The course will be aimed at first- and second-year students and will be called “Mercedes F1: Leading a High Performance Team.”

“Every time I enter the campus, I am inspired by the students’ curiosity and ambition, and I always come away excited about the special learning environment they create together with the brilliant faculty. I feel very honored and privileged to continue working with the incredibly bright young minds at Harvard,” are the words quoted on the Mercedes website.
