Tiger Woods injured, no Championship
No PGA Championship for Tiger Woods: the U.S. golfer was forced to forfeit the highly anticipated event scheduled in Rochester with all the world’s best players because he is struggling with a foot problem that forced him to undergo surgery.
The U.S. outfielder wanted to undergo surgery three weeks ago for traumatic arthritis that had arisen from his previous heel fracture, and thus must forgo the second Major of the season, and probably also the Us Open next June.
Tiger Woods for this very injury had been forced to withdraw from the Augusta Masters in early April.
