F1 Ferrari: Charles Leclerc, two more troubles arrive
Ferrari will introduce new components regarding Charles Leclerc’s power unit
New penalties are on the way for Ferrari after power unit reliability problems highlighted in recent months in several Grands Prix, so much so that Charles Leclerc is already on his fifth power unit, Carlos Sainz on his fourth. According to rumors reported by Formulapassion, Ferrari has already decided in which Grands Prix Charles Leclerc will face a penalty for using a new power unit.
The Monegasque will have to serve a grid back in Spa, Belgium, when the World Championship resumes after the summer break, and in Austin, the fourth-to-last round of the championship. The penalty will vary depending on the number of new components that will be introduced on the power unit. The two Grands Prix in question were chosen because they have tracks that favor overtaking and comeback opportunities.
