Renewal Victor Osimhen, Napoli prepares the offer
Napoli è is ready to sit down again at the negotiating table for the contract renewal of Victor Osimhen. According to Sunday’s report by 'Il Mattino', in fact, the Parthenopean management has reportedly received precise indications from Aurelio De Laurentiis himself to arrange a meeting with the Nigerian footballer and his entourage as soon as possible.
The offer, according to the Neapolitan newspaper, would be for a contract extension until 2027 with a salary of 10 million euros a year, to which any bonuses linked to appearances, goals and assists would then be added. The current agreement linking Osimhen to Napoli expires on June 30, 2025. There is no shortage of time, but for the parties involved è time to speed up the negotiations.
Osimhen, 25 years old on Dec. 29, è returned from the extraordinary 2022/23 season, which culminated in winning the Scudetto thanks in part to 26 goals in 32 Serie A matches, to which should also be added on a seasonal level the 5 goals in 6 appearances in the UEFA Champions League, where Napoli è stopped, last year, at the quarterfinals against Milan.
This season, things seem to be a bit different, due in part to the physical problems that affected the first months of 2023/24 and some discontent with Rudi Garcia on the bench. With Mazzarri now fans and insiders close to Napoli are hoping for an upturn: at the moment, in 11 appearances (until December 8), Osimhen has collected 6 goals.
