After the definitive arrival of David Ankeye from Sheriff Tiraspol and the early redemption of Ruslan Malinovskyi from Marisglia, Genoa has placed another strike in the attack: it is Vitinha, a Portuguese striker, also from the French club.
"Vítor Manuel Carvalho Oliveira, known as Vitinha, è a new Genoa player. The Portuguese striker, born in Cabeceiras de Basto on 15/03/2000, arrives from Olympique Marseille on a loan deal with a buy-back option" reads the statement issued by the Rossoblù club.
He has worn the Sporting Braga jersey in his career, collecting 67 appearances and 28 goals. He also boasts 13 appearances and 4 goals with the Portugal U21 and U18 national team jersey. Vitinha will wear the number 9 jersey, which è was also that of Alberto Gilardino, current coach of the Grifone.
