Milan enchants, Atalanta stops it: 1-1, as Bologna-Verona
A fine Milan team picks up a point in Bergamo, also ends 1-1 between Bologna and Verona.
A standout performance for AC Milan on the field of Atalanta, where, however, it ends 1-1 also thanks to a good defensive performance by the Nerazzurri. Indeed, in Bergamo it was market man Ruslan Malinovskyi who unlocked the result in the 29th minute with a great conclusion from the distance deflected by Kalulu. Up to that point it was Milan who had been favored, and the Rossoneri’s chances also flowed for the rest of the match.
The second half was full of chances, with an airy Milan and a scattershot Atalanta that, however, when spaces opened up, also created a few chances to double with Hateboer and Pasalic. The equalizer was in the air, however, and after attempts by Kalulu, Leao, Giroud, Messias and a sontoso Tonali, it was Bennacer who signed it in the 68th minute after a splendid personal solo. In the second half De Ketelaere was on the pitch: his impact with the match was excellent.
Bologna-Verona also ends 1-1, thanks to goals by Arnautovic in the 21st minute and Henry in the 43rd minute. The goal of the potential Rossoblù victory was cancelled out in the 44th minute by Orsolini, who was then sent off in the 78th minute.
