Two painful sacrifices for Juventus.
Two sacrifice pains for Juventus
Matias Soulé and Federico Chiesa will most likely be sacrificed by Cristiano Giuntoli to finance the Juventus market. Thiago Motta would like to keep the very talented Argentine but in case of a €30 million offer it would be hard to refuse.
At the moment, the club most interested in Soulé è Leicester which, however, will not go (for now) beyond 20 million euros plus bonuses. Giuntoli on the request è adamant: 10 million euros are missing. The champion in the last season played with the shirt of Frosinone achieving excellent results especially in the first part of the season.
The Federico Chiesa è chapter is complicated: he has a contract only until 2025 and Juventus is not so sure about renewing him. Giuntoli would prefer to sell him and then reinvest in the market (there is much talk of Karim Adeyemi and Jadon Sancho). Roma, the club in pole for the former Fiorentina until a few days ago, seems to have decided to let go.
Despite the affordable demand (Chiesa could leave for 20-25 million euros), no club has made concrete steps to buy him.
