Romelu Lukaku: another clue brings him closer to Napoli

The arrival of the center forward of the future seems to be getting closer and closer.

The agreement for his arrival from Chelsea è is close, complete with a pay cut to facilitate the operation. Over the weekend, in fact, Lukaku’s official profiles underwent a heavy transformation. The striker decided to delete a significant number of posts: all those attributable to clubs from his past (Roma included). Therefore, only the images in which he appears without social colors remained, while waiting to change them to the blue of Napoli.

Chelsea, according to 'Sky Sport', è ready to drop up to 35 million euros per season for the player’s transfer. Napoli is aiming for a further discount, and hopes to close the purchase of Lukaku around 30 million euros, including bonuses. It would thus be an outright purchase, after the many loans from Chelsea that have characterized the past returns to Serie A of the bomber so dear to Conte.

As mentioned, however, the Belgian striker has accepted a major cut in his salary in order to wear the Azzurri jersey and return to Antonio Conte’s coaching. Lukaku will go from the current 11 million euros he receives at Chelsea to 6 million euros per season until 2027.
