Paulo Fonseca è been satisfied: through an official note, Milan confirmed the purchase of Youssouf Fofana, a midfielder of great quantity who will have the task of shielding the Rossoneri defense.

The statement:"AC Milan è pleased to announce that it has acquired outright the sports performance of the player Youssouf Fofana from AS Monaco. The French midfielder has signed a contract with the Rossoneri club until June 30, 2028. Born in Paris (France) on January 10, 1999, Youssouf grew up in the French Youth Sectors before joining Strasbourg with whom he made his professional debut and totaled 41 appearances and 4 goals, winning a Coupe de la Ligue". 

"In January 2020 he moved to Monaco, with whom he played 175 games topped by 7 goals and 15 assists. Youssouf, after completing his trafilament in France’s youth selections, made his debut with the senior national team in September 2022, with which he boasts 21 appearances and 3 goals. Fofana will wear the Rossoneri jersey number 29" concludes the note.
