Pinamonti scores, Genoa strike in Parma. Balotelli debuts and is immediately cautioned

Genoa strike in Parma: the Grifone wins 1-0 at the Tardini thanks to Pinamonti’s second-half goal. The Rossoblù return to winning ways by climbing to 9 points in the standings and embrace Mario Balotelli, who makes his debut in the end of the game and is immediately cautioned. In trouble is Pecchia’s team, which has been on a nine-game winless streak.

Start that you do not expect: Genoa holding the field and Parma  timid that  plays on the remittance. Only halfway through the first half did the hosts make themselves dangerous following a two-man free kick in the box that was kicked just over the crossbar. And then the first half è continued in absolute boredom, with a Parma concerned only with closing spaces  and an impalpable Genoa that only in the recovery committed Suzuki to a great intervention on Frendrup’s shot. Ugly first half.

The second half began with Genoa ahead and Suzuki engaged by a Thorsby header.  With some substitutions Pecchia’s team seemed to wake up with a redesigned midfield. But è Genoa to make themselves dangerous at 57' with Pinamonti hitting the post, and at 78' on Suzuki’s rebound, after Ekathor’s shot, put the guests ahead. Frost falls in Parma beyond the fog.  In the last minutes one would have expected a Parma all forward to attack and try for the equalizer but this was not the case. Bravo to Genoa and once again put off Parma. Which exits among the booing.

At 85'85; Mario Balotelli made his red-blue debut, who was immediately cautioned on his return to Serie A for a foul on the edge of the area and protested at length to referee Guida. Little bad for Genoa, which picks up a victory that lifts it up in the standings.
