NBA, LA Lakers send Bronny James to G League.
King James’ son will play with the South Bay Lakers
Bronny James's adventure with the LA Lakers jersey has come to a halt, albeit a rather predictable one. After "tasting" the court with the yellowviolet and having the chanceà to play with his father, the time has come for King James’ son to get involved in the G League (tournament teams affiliated with NBA franchises).
Specifically, Bronny James will play in the South Bay Lakers’ jersey and is expected to make his debut on Saturday against Salt Lake City. The day before, however, he will be on the bench with the LA Lakers in the showdown against the Philadelphia 76ers.
In fact, he could be shuttling "shuttling" for a long time, although, for sure, he will be employed mainly in the G League, so as to allow him to play continuously and improve his still immature skills. This is a process that, especially in the NBA, is often put in place when it comes to young prospects.
"The plan for Bronny è has always been to go back and forth between the Lakers and South Bay" had said coach JJ Redick at the start of the regular season. Now it will be up to Bronny James to prove, with great evidence in the G League, that he can aspire to play, permanently, with his father’s LA Lakers.
