Already qualified for the quarterfinals of the Nations League, Germany è secured the first place in its group by overwhelming Bosnia-Herzegovina 7-0 in Freiburg.
Julian Nagelsmann’s players signed their fourth win in five matches and scored 13 points out of a possible 15 available.
Thanks to first place, Germany will play the quarterfinals at home on March 23, 2025. German goals were scored by Jamal Musiala (2' minute), Tim Kleindienst (23' and 79'), Kai Havertz (37'), Florian Wirtz (50', 57') and Leroy Sané (66').
In the same group, the Netherlands also advanced to the quarters, thanks to a clear victory (4-0) against Hungary at the Johan-Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam.
Second with eight points, Holland can no longer be outscored by Hungary (5). The Dutch goals were scored by Wout Weghorst (21' minute from the penalty spot), Cody Gakpo (45' + 12 from the penalty spot), Denzel Dumfries (64') and Teun Koopmeiners (86').
