Gian Piero Gasperini, wink at the Arabs

Gasperini’s words

Gian Piero Gasperini does not rule out a future in Saudi Arabia: "Would I accept the money like Mancini did? Too early to say. There’è been the possibility; but I was not mentally ready and I had a commitment. Does the Saudi hypothesis remain alive? Only if I had the conviction that I could bring something new. Soì it would make sense, beyond money. It would be the crowning achievement of a career"

"Talent è increasingly rare in a fast-paced soccer but è the most beautiful thing,” he added, “the first thing you look for to notice in a kid from the youth ranks: the sensitivity, the imagination, the easeà of play. Individual tactics are part of talent, how a player handles body position, control, ball protection. Soccer è complex and made of many ingredients that must be combined to make up a winning team", he added to Gazzetta dello Sport.

And again: "Much is said to me about playing man-to-man across the board, little about my teams scoring lots of goals. Soccer remains a spectacle: when you have stadiums soì full you have to offer the payers something they like. There have been so many philosophies, there's been a period when only winning counts, but I believe that a higher chance of winning comes precisely from good soccer. I have never had any doubt: when a team expresses itself well, it has a better chance of winning. Everyone has their own records and goals to achieve: when you manage to surpass yourself there'è a great victory and soccer also teaches you to lose and start again, creating a new goal"
