The words of Vladimir Weiss

These are the statements made in the press conference by Slovan Bratislava coach Vladimir Weiss ahead of the Champions League match at the "National Stadium" against Paulo Fonseca’s AC Milan.

"For us è it is an honor to play against AC Milan and play in the Champions League. We have no chance to go forward in the competition, but we have to enjoy the fact that we can play against very strong teams. I used to say that City was the strongest team, but now it è not so è anymore. The Rossoneri won against Real Madrid and it was not è an easy feat" began the Slovak coach.

"For us, every Champions game è like a final. i am very happy that tomorrow we will play against AC Milan, which è one of the giants of soccer. They will play to win. I expect an offensive formation with all the best players, because è the Rossoneri have to win if they want to go through. Fonseca è a very good coach, but the players have to get used to his game and thatè is why they are struggling against small teams" continued the Bratislava native.

"We are stronger than in the first Champions League games and we have recovered several important players. Fonseca here è came here a year ago with Lille and is bringing his philosophy to Milan, with many verticalisations that serve to exploit the speed of Leao, Pulisic and the qualities of Abraham. Serie A è has improved a lot, è among the top three leagues in the world. We will have to be good at limiting their strongest players and go on the field prepared, we look forward to it" added the 1964 class.

"The match against Juve è was too tactical, there was too much respect and for the spectators è it was a bit of a boring game. But also not to cash in a goal è it was a strategy. If I could choose who to take away from AC Milan, it would be Pulisic" commented Vladimir Weiss.
