NBA, Donovan Mitchell knocks out the Celtics
Boston loses a game after seven straight wins
Lots of contests played in the NBA night. Great victory for Cleveland, which, dragged by its All Star Mitchell (35 points), managed to knock out Boston (115-111), thus maintaining the league’s best record (18-3). Mitchell scored 30 of his 35 points in the second half, proving decisive in the victory. For the Celtics, first stop after seven straight wins (16-4 record for the green-and-whites).
Victory, in a sprint, of San Antonio against Sacramento (127-125 the final). Great performance by Wembanyama, who signs his first triple-double of the season with 34 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists (he also puts up three stoppages). Of particular note were his 13 points in the decisive quarter. The Spurs have a positive record at the moment (11-9).
In the other games, Orlando beat Brooklyn (100-92) while Indiana è surrendered to Memphis (136-121). It was all easy for New York against New Orleans (118-85). Nice success for Toronto over Miami (119-116). Houston smiles as it wins over OKC (119-116).
Breathing LA Lakers who, in a sprint, get rid of Utah (105-104). Davis (33 points) and James (27 points, 10 in the last period) were decisive. Dallas also did well: 137-131 over Portland. Finally, Denver falls in the presence of the LA Clippers. Not enough, at home Nuggets, the eighth triple-double of the season of Jokic (28 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists).
