Inter-Udinese, Simone Inzaghi’s choices

After a scintillating victory with Lazio in Serie A, Inter are preparing to return to the field in the Coppa Italia, where they make their debut at the San Siro at 9 p.m. against Udinese in a match valid for the round of 16. Whoever wins will face precisely Lazio, which è qualified for the quarterfinals thanks to a 3-1 victory over Napoli.

Simone Inzaghi è ready to revolutionize the lineup: there are 8 changes compared to Monday’s match with the biancocelesti. In goal, it will be Josep Martinez s turn, on his official debut with the Nerazzurri jersey. In defense Bisseck will act as center back to give De Vrij a rest, as Acerbi è is still out. On his sides will be Darmian and Bastoni (not è yet for Palacios).

In midfield, the only confirmation è Calhanoglu in the booth. Midwings will be Frattesi and Zielinski, with Mkhitaryan from the bench. He will be missing; Barella, who came off injured from the challenge with Lazio. On the outsides, there will be room for Buchanan on the right, in his first start, and Carlos Augusto on the opposite flank.

In attack, the'only certain of the spot è Taremi. Next to the Iranian center forward, coach Inzaghi still has to choose between Arnautovic and Correa, although the Austrian seems slightly favored over the Argentine. Captain Lautaro Martinez and Thuram will start from the bench.
