Sunday night’s big match between Trento and Bologna

For Dolomiti Energia Trentino è a peculiar period: started with ten consecutive victories in the league, the Bianconeri team found in Trapani the first setback (107-99), which è was followed by another defeat, in a EuroCup in which instead Trento is struggling more (4-8 record), against Buducnost at overtime (110-108).

On the horizon there's a challenge that is anything but easy, against a Virtus Bologna refreshed by its success against Barcelona in the Euroleague (86-81) and ready to shorten the distance in the league from first place. On the eve of the match scheduled for Sunday, Trento`s assistant coach Fabio Bongi spoke.

"Looking ahead to Sunday, the goal will be to replicate the good offensive performance of the last few outings,” he said, “working forò with more attention on defense and improving our cohesion in that half of the court. Virtus will arrive with a great desire for redemption, considering the somewhat complicated moment they are going through".

"I expect a very good game, like the last ones, and it will be essential to have a’glowing atmosphere at the arena to give us the push we need to win" concluded Bongi. Echoed by American basketball player Anthony Lamb: "In the last few games we have been missing some details that, against opponents of this level, make the difference. We need to stay focused throughout the game" he said.
