Milan Mayor Beppe Sala è returned to talk about the willingness of Inter and Milan to submit by the end of February a’bid for the’purchase of the Meazza stadium and surrounding areas in the San Siro district.

The city’s first citizen, on the sidelines of an event, confirmed the news and added: "We expect that by the end of February the two teams will present us with the new business plan, which will have to take into account the comments that emerged from the public debate and the city council resolution".

"Next, we will have to identify ways to get a proposal from the clubs, and we will follow the directions that the advocacy will provide. We are in complete agreement with the goal of being able to complete the transfer of the area and the stadium before the summer vacations. To be precise, we expect the plan to arrive by February".
