D'Aversa dà room for many young people in the anti-Juventus eleven

Today (kickoff at 9 p.m.), Juventus hosts Empoli. Up for grabs is the last pass to the Coppa Italia semifinals. Whoever passes, will face Bologna (in the other semifinal, the Milan-Inter derby). The Bianconeri are betting big on this event, in light of the bitter elimination from the Champions League.

Barring any last-minute surprises, Thiago Motta will field the best possible team. In front of Perin, Cambiaso, Kelly, Gatti and Weah should act, the latter confirmed as a low defensive outside back. Locatelli and Thuram in front of the defense (Douglas Luiz è unavailable).

The novelty concerns the attack with the concrete possibility of seeing Vlahovic and Kolo Muani at work together from the first minute. It really looks like it will be a good time (after a few flashes of one match alongside the other). The two will be supported by McKennie, again in the trequartista role, and Nico Gonzalez, looking for the lost goal. Yildiz and Conceiçao are expected to start from the bench and, should it be needed, enter the game in progress.

On the other side, D'Aversa has already let it be known that he will give plenty of space to youngsters and those who have played little so far. Reduced by four defeats in a row in the league, Empoli must think more about the championship than the Italian Cup. Central striker will be; Colombo with Kovalenko and Kouamè in support.
