Shevchenko’s words

Andriy Shevchenko, president of the Ukrainian Football Federation, è returned to speak in an interview with the 'Newspaper': "There's a whole country that is working for peace. We all hope for peace, as long as it&#39s a just peace. I really want to always thank our boys and girls who are defending the borders of the country. Who are keeping it alive".

"The biggest challenge è to make sure that the games do not stop, despite this terrible war wanted by Russia, which invaded Ukraine, which is a sovereign state. The boys and girls must be able to continue dreaming, thanks to football".

"Did you know that a team from Kiev, Lokomotiv, at the end of May will participate in the Manlio Selis Tournament in Sardinia, which è one of the most important in Europe at the youth level? That trip, the kids, will remember it for a lifetime", he noted. "The future of soccer in Ukraine also depends on peace".
