Salah has made his decision: official renewal with the Reds

Salah is not leaving. Rhyme aside, the Egyptian star’s contract renewal with Liverpool is official. After a long tug and pull, the classic white smoke that all Reds fans have been eagerly awaiting finally arrived.
“Long live the King”, complete with an image of “King Momo”. This was the post published on Liverpool’s official X profile to certify a renewal that makes all parties happy. Class of 1992, the Egyptian striker has worn the Reds jersey since the summer of 2017 and will do so for two more seasons.
“It is great, I spent the best years of my career here. I played eight years at Anfield, hopefully it will become 10. I would like to tell the fans that I am very, very happy to stay. I signed because I believe we can win many great trophies together”, the words of Salah himself on his contract extension with the English club.
All the clubs that were negotiating Salah remain, therefore, tight-lipped. In particular, utmost disappointment in Saudi Arabia. Many were convinced that, next year, the Egyptian would be one of the stars of the Saudi Pro League. Instead, he chose to continue his adventure in England, in his beloved city of Liverpool.
