Luciano Darderi hits the quarterfinals in Munich

Luciano Darderi is the first player to qualify for the quarterfinals of the BMW Open by Bitpanda, ATP 500 on the Munich courts (€2,500,000 prize money). The world No. 47 today defeated Miomir Kecmanovic, No. 48, with a score of 2-6 7-6(4) 6.4.
For him this is his seventh consecutive victory on the major circuit, his personal best. In the quarters, his opponent will come out of a match between Ben Shelton (No. 15) and Botic Van de Zandschulp (No. 89).
The winner of the match will be Ben Shelton.
