Too much Madison Keys for Lucia Bronzetti in Madrid

Bitter second round for Lucia Bronzetti at the Madrid Masters 1000. The Italian tennis player, in fact, was defeated in two sets by world number five Madison Keys with a score of 6-4 6-3.
In the first set, it was the Rimini native who found the break as early as the second game. The reaction of the U.S., however, was not long in coming and was overwhelming, as she gave the match a decisive shove with a partial five games to one. At that point, it is just a formality for her to close the score at 6-4.
Bronzetti’s prolonged break continued in the second set, where Keys quickly flew out to a 5-1 lead. With her back against the wall, the Italian managed to recover one of the two breaks, but the American did not falter and in the ninth game closed the score at 6-3.

In the next round, Madison Keys will face Russian Anna Kalinskaya.
