Serie A 2024-2025: Napoli-Torino, the likely lineups

Sunday, April 27 at 8:45 p.m. at the Stadio Maradona will see the staging of a match of vital importance in terms of the Scudetto for Antonio Conte’s team. Vanoli’s Torino arrives, which unlike the Azzurri has little to ask for from the championship now. In fact, the Granata team, fresh from last day’s 2-0 home success against Udinese, is in solitary tenth place in the standings with 43 points.
Antonio Conte and his team, on the other hand, will go into the match already knowing that Simone Inzaghi’s Inter were stopped 1-0 at San Siro by a goal from Soule.
Antonio Conte, given also the prolonged absence of David Neres, seems to be intent on lining up with a 4-4-2. In goal the usual Meret, with the central pair Rrahmani-Olivera expected to start from 1′, the Rafa Marin option being more defiladed. On the side lanes should act Di Lorenzo on one side and Spinazzola on the other. Midfield that instead sees Politano and McTominay favored on the side lanes, while in the center Anguissa is ready to take back a starting jersey with the usual Lobotka at his side. If in attack the certainty Lukaku is never in doubt, Raspadori’s presence is not so obvious.
Paolo Vanoli should instead opt for a 4-3-2-1. Milinkovic-Savic will defend the posts, with the defensive quartet for protection expected to consist of Walukiewicz and Biraghi as full-backs, further back Pedersen, with Coco and Maripán in the center. Midfield trio with Ricci, Linetty and Casadei as favorites, given Gineitis’ disqualification. In support of the only point,Ché Adams, Vlasic and Elmas are running for a starting shirt.
