Jannik Sinner launches his foundation
Jannik Sinner has officially launched his foundation. Through a video posted on his Instagram profile, the world number one announced the birth of ‘Jannik Sinner Foundation’ a’nonprofit organization with the’goal of supporting children’s education and facilitating access to sports by supporting sports organizations, school projects, and community initiatives.
“For me, it is an honor to support children and young athletes – said the’South Tyrolean -. Sports have taught me valuable lessons: discipline, resilience and the courage to stay true to myself. Lessons that I believe are worth sharing. Through our work we want to show kids what is possible, not only in sports but also in life”.
The board of directors includes Alex Vittur, president of the Foundation as well as CEO of Avima and manager of Jannik Sinner; Stefano Domenicali, board member as well as president and CEO of Formula 1; Luca Maestri, board member and former CFO of Apple; and Foundation director Christina Tauber.
“Every child deserves equal opportunity, regardless of background – said Alex Vittur in the Foundation’s launch statement. “This belief is what inspired the Jannik Sinner Foundation. Our goal is to break down social barriers and create spaces where sports and education become powerful tools for growth, inclusion and hope. Our mission is to open more doors for more children, because every dream deserves to be recognized, supported and given a chance to be realized”.
